Without thinking about it, you meet us in your everyday life – at home, in transit and at work. • We are at the airport, where you commute, where you work, play and shop. • Diverse in our offering, our customer outreach and in our mindset, Gunnebo is leading the transformation of the security business through digitalization and connectivity for the continuous development of smart entrance control and safe storage solutions. • If you are passionate about being part of an exciting transformation journey working with a global, multi-cultural and highly motivated organisation this is the opportunity for you. • Gunnebo is small enough to see your ideas come true, and big enough to realize your career goals. • Our Retail Sales Manager is to lead the business development strategy and new and existing retail relationships for Gunnebo Entrance Control in Italy. • This is a unique individual who will focus on developing new business for GEC. • This is an exciting time to join and will be an excellent opportunity to join a company going through a period of immense growth and innovation. • Build, develop, qualify, and close the pipeline of new business opportunities in Italy. • Maintain and develop a client hunting list, pipeline and sales plan. • Ensure the assigned annual sales plan for the role is achieved. • Responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with our existing clients. • Understand and act upon cross-selling opportunities and present applicable Gunnebo’s solutions and services of our full product portfolio. • Understand and interpret prospective client’s security, operational and financial objectives. • Maintain frequent contact with all clients and deliver best-in-class customer service by providing new solutions that apply to client needs. • Deliver advanced solution presentations, (verbal and written) to prospective customers that comprehensively outline the solutions, benefits and ROI to the client. • Train partners on our products and services. • Work closely with operations to ensure major projects are successfully completed and signed off by the customer, and with all the colleagues to ensure the delivery of the sales targets, order intakes and Gross Margins. • Understand and monitor market trends and competitor activity. • Stay current with external and internal developments within the industry. • Communicate to the direct manager opportunity and issues and propose solutions. • Set up ways of monitoring performance of clients and ensure appropriate follow ups. • Suggest new product development ideas. • Attend trade shows and exhibitions. • Participate and support debt collection. • Travel is required.
• Minimum of 5 years sales management and 3 years business development experience. • Demonstrable experience of working in the access control Industry (technical or sales or managerial) with a solid working knowledge of security solutions. • A team player with an eagerness to learn. • A strong network in the commercial properties and institutional verticals. • A proven background utilizing a consultative / solution sales approach strategy. • Proven ability to network, prospect and convert new clients and build strong relationships. • Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand the client’s business, processes, and objectives that will translate into effective solution propositions. • The ability to work under pressure, work independently, and persevere. • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. • Excellent organizational, time management, negotiation, and customer service skills. • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software packages and overall computer skills and a preference with Dynamics 365. • Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
