Description

• This is an entry level position and would suit someone who is a recent graduate or has some experience. • This position is remote based out of Madrid, Spain. • As an entry level Field Service Engineer here at Illumina, you will partner with customers to install and maintain all hardware including customer troubleshooting, and complaint resolution. • This position serves as an engineering consultant during pre- and post-sales activities and will collaborate with the broader commercial team to maximize sales growth, support instrument uptime, and customer satisfaction. • It is essential to have a valid driving license within Spain with the flexibility to travel up to 60% across the region. • Fluent language skills in both English and Spanish are also essential.

Requirements

• Electronics or Engineering diploma or some experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally experience with Medical Devices. • Good knowledge of IT networking concepts with experience in device configuration and troubleshooting. • Excellent working knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems. • Fluent in Spanish and English. • Be willing to travel up to 60% of the time. • Ability to travel within Spain, and occasionally in Europe. • Valid driver’s license.
