β’ High school diploma or GED certificate β’ Completion of formal coding program with coding credentials (e.g. CCS, RHIA, RHIT) β’ Minimum 5 years California workers' compensation coding work experience β’ 2 years of California workers' compensation coding review experience β’ Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding systems β’ PC proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software β’ Strong communication and customer service skills β’ Personal computer meeting job requirements
