📋 Description

• Cybersecurity Dive seeks an experienced senior reporter to provide timely, insightful reporting to serve executives in the cybersecurity industry. • This role includes enterprise reporting and in-depth stories analyzing the trends and issues affecting cybersecurity executives, and reporting on cybersecurity news that affects business continuity. • The senior reporter will also work with the Cybersecurity Dive reporting team to conceive and execute bigger editorial projects. • Cybersecurity Dive is a publication that primarily serves the role of the CISO and other high-level cybersecurity decision-makers.

🎯 Requirements

• An interest in issues that most concerns CISOs, including technology disruption, the changing cyber threat landscape, workforce, and executive career growth. • Ability to interpret and analyze complex cyber threat trends, regulatory developments, technology shifts, and leadership responsibility, that connects the dots for CISOs. • Ability to quickly take ownership of specific beats through original reporting and building relationships with important and diverse sources. • Possesses a working knowledge of digital publishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and how to maximize reporting impact with a highly selective executive audience. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced news environment; deadline-oriented time management skills and ability to turn around stories on tight deadlines. • Experience writing web headlines and editing copy. • Familiarity with newsletter publishing operations and objectives. • Bachelor's degree or better in journalism, English or related field. • 10+ years experience, with at least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity journalism.
