📋 Description
• Provide support for incident and request intake, documentation, and resolution • Perform basic troubleshooting and triage tasks • Assess database management system and subsequent databases • Execute scripts and deploy database and system objects • Provide guidance, mentoring, and training for other DBAs • Participate in a support on-call rotation • Perform database maintenance, backup management, performance management • Design, tune, and implement solutions
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and or Information Systems or 4 more years' of work-related experience without a degree • 6 years MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and Cache/Mumps • Must have experience in daily operations of database platforms, set up, troubleshooting, system design and planning • Must be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Server OS management in Windows OS and Unix (Linux) • Experience with 508 compliance • Ability to support customers during EST hours • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent analytical and organizational skills • Ability to obtain and maintain VA Public Trust • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirement
