Description

• Develop the next version of Instacart Design System’s Android components • Provide elegant solutions for high-velocity engineer experiences • Collaborate to design consistent component APIs • Improve developer experience in using the Instacart Design System • Engage with designers to co-create components and patterns • Support Android engineering team with documentation/support

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Android app UI development • Practical knowledge and experience using Jetpack Compose • Effective in developing native mobile applications with accessibility in mind • Strong communication and written skills • Solid understanding of fundamental design principles and high attention to detail in UI implementation • An exceptionally collaborative approach towards working with design and engineering teams • Background in writing developer-oriented documentation (preferred) • Experience working directly on a design system team (preferred)
