Description

• Measure floor plans and blueprints for flooring bids and material ordering. • Secure and review bid documents including drawings and addendums. • Produce custom quotes following department policy to support sales. • Utilize CAD software to accurately measure quantities for bidding. • Process requests for material reviews and adjust banked data as needed. • Attend pre-bid and new builder meetings as necessary. • Complete takeoffs according to department policy and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required. • Digital and hard blueprint deciphering capabilities. • Ability to visualize 3D data from 2D information. • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office products). • Strong math and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes. • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently. • Minimum of 1-year related experience or equivalent education and training preferred. • Bilingual experience preferred (English/Spanish). • Knowledge of flooring systems.
