We are on an aggressive growth trajectory and are staffing key positions. β€’ About This Position The Senior Specialist, HV Engineering will be accountable for the HV design, EPC design coordination for HV & MV, utility interconnection coordination during the development, financing, construction, and commissioning phases of the renewable facilities (solar, wind, battery storage, etc). The candidate will also be responsible for providing technical support to the operation team.

Requirements

β€’ Strong understanding of HV transmission, substation equipment, MV distribution, metering, relaying, and SCADA/plant controllers. β€’ Technical expertise in power system design and studies. β€’ Experience managing interconnection study processes in ERCOT and CAISO, reviewing and challenging study results. β€’ Highly organized with effective project management skills. β€’ Advanced knowledge of steady-state modeling tools like ETAP, SKP, and DigSILENT. β€’ Proficient in Excel. β€’ Practical experience working with EPCs and utilities during design and construction phases. β€’ Basic understanding of technology trade-offs, system design optimization, cost drivers, and construction challenges.
