Description

• Responsible for leading the day-to-day digital product development efforts for the Financial Systems (Yardi) team • Establish and constantly foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders • Build and continually maintain a 4-6 week sprint backlog that supports the digital product roadmap • Partner with product designers in the creation of user-interface artifacts • Partner with software engineers to gain a high-level understanding of the technology integrations • Drive a cross-functional software development team to deliver on technology commitments • Perform user acceptance testing for completed stories and bugs • Generate release and knowledge base documentation • Serve as a resource for the production support team to investigate and resolve product defects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a product owner/product manager role • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience in real estate, travel, or retail preferred • Experience with Agile/Scrum software delivery • Experience with Yardi required • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred • Good business and technical acumen • Ability to communicate complex information in simple terms to a wide variety of audiences • Good written and oral communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively • Ability to negotiate without being adversarial • Empathy for the customer and associate experiences as an equal footing input to prioritization • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority • Strong teamwork skills; strong ability to motivate engineering teams and foster creativity • Strong ability to manage expectations while making others feel heard and respected • Willing to go above and beyond while taking ownership of needs that exist • Serve as a problem-solver and embrace change.
