β€’ Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business. β€’ Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues. β€’ Maintain technical competence and industry expertise. β€’ Direct daily activities of the account management team. β€’ Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis. β€’ Manage policy expirations and renewals. β€’ Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals. β€’ Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts, collecting outstanding balances. β€’ Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. β€’ Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion. β€’ Maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team regarding workload status and any issues. β€’ Deliver excellent service, proactively anticipate needs, and respond quickly to service requests. β€’ Stay updated on company policies and procedures. β€’ Seek and adopt best practices to improve individual and team performance. β€’ Demonstrate integrity and leadership.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry β€’ Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs β€’ Required active licensing; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills β€’ Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills β€’ Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) β€’ High School Diploma (or equivalent)
