📋 Description

• Play a crucial role in ensuring compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals. • Contribute to key processes such as salary analysis, benchmarking, and year-end compensation reviews. • Prepares salary analysis for job offer approvals. • Analyzes job descriptions and responsibilities to determine appropriate pay grades and salary ranges. • Assesses internal pay equity to identify potential disparities. • Benchmark jobs against survey data to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position. • Gathers data for market-based compensation surveys. • Support mid-year and annual year-end processes. • Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations concerning compensation practices. • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 2+ years prior experience as a compensation analyst. • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. • Knowledge of compensation practices, including Radford salary surveys, job grading and market benchmarking. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Proficiency in analyzing and modeling large data sets in Excel. • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. • Sound judgment, data-driven decision-making, and excellent follow-up. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
