• Chartis Federal is a leading systems engineering and integration firm specializing in mission-critical IT and communications for law enforcement, homeland security, and defense. • Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our consistent year-over-year growth. • We are hiring a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to support a federal government customer located in Washington, DC. • Participation in business requirements sessions with stakeholders and design solutions using the Power Platform. • Create 508 compliant custom business applications using the Power Platform. • Design and implement workflows and automation using Power Automate. • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide valuable data insights. • Maintain thorough technical documentation for solutions, processes, and best practices. • Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. degree in a related field • 8+ years of relevant experience • Microsoft Power Apps Development: Experience in creating, customizing, and deploying Power Apps solutions for business needs, including eloquently managing complex business rules, creating galleries for data entry, and implementing validation rules. • Application Lifecyle Management (ALM): Experience using Pipelines for application lifecycle management and OData Dataflows to migrate data between environments. • Power BI Report Development: Experience in designing and building interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. • Ability to transform and cleanse data using Power Query to prepare data for Power BI Reports and Data Connections in MS Excel. • Relational Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases for data retrieval and manipulation, and specific experience working with Dataverse, including both lookup and formula columns. • Security: Experience implementing a role-based security model for Power Platform solutions, including roles which include both column and/or row-based security. • Data Modeling: Understanding of data modeling concepts to design efficient and scalable data structures for Power Platform solutions. • Data Integration: Experience integrating data from various sources, such as Dataverse, relational databases, APIs, and cloud services, into Power Platform solutions. • Power Automate: Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation and integration with Power Platform solutions. • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, understand their requirements, and explain technical solutions in non-technical terms. • Team Player: Ability to communicate and work effectively in cross-functional teams and with data analysts, business users, and IT professionals in an Agile environment. • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure data accuracy and the quality of application components and reports.
