β’ Chartis Federal is a leading systems engineering and integration firm specializing in mission-critical IT and communications for law enforcement, homeland security, and defense. β’ Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our consistent year-over-year growth. β’ We are hiring a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to support a federal government customer located in Washington, DC. β’ Participation in business requirements sessions with stakeholders and design solutions using the Power Platform. β’ Create 508 compliant custom business applications using the Power Platform. β’ Design and implement workflows and automation using Power Automate. β’ Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide valuable data insights. β’ Maintain thorough technical documentation for solutions, processes, and best practices. β’ Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive solutions.
β’ B.A. or B.S. degree in a related field β’ 8+ years of relevant experience β’ Microsoft Power Apps Development: Experience in creating, customizing, and deploying Power Apps solutions for business needs, including eloquently managing complex business rules, creating galleries for data entry, and implementing validation rules. β’ Application Lifecyle Management (ALM): Experience using Pipelines for application lifecycle management and OData Dataflows to migrate data between environments. β’ Power BI Report Development: Experience in designing and building interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. β’ Ability to transform and cleanse data using Power Query to prepare data for Power BI Reports and Data Connections in MS Excel. β’ Relational Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases for data retrieval and manipulation, and specific experience working with Dataverse, including both lookup and formula columns. β’ Security: Experience implementing a role-based security model for Power Platform solutions, including roles which include both column and/or row-based security. β’ Data Modeling: Understanding of data modeling concepts to design efficient and scalable data structures for Power Platform solutions. β’ Data Integration: Experience integrating data from various sources, such as Dataverse, relational databases, APIs, and cloud services, into Power Platform solutions. β’ Power Automate: Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation and integration with Power Platform solutions. β’ Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, understand their requirements, and explain technical solutions in non-technical terms. β’ Team Player: Ability to communicate and work effectively in cross-functional teams and with data analysts, business users, and IT professionals in an Agile environment. β’ Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure data accuracy and the quality of application components and reports.
