• ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa - we are a global BPO company and have a US client in the IT Support Industry servicing small and medium businesses, who is in search for a hands-on MSP Systems Administrator to work remotely. • We are seeking a technical expert, with a focus on delivering outstanding service and driving process improvement. • The MSP Systems Administrator will be at the forefront of managing and escalating complex IT issues, while also being a proactive solution finder. • Working Hours: This role requires you to work US hours Mon - Fri from 9am to 6pm EST (15h00 to 24h00 South African time - subject to change dependant on daylight savings). • Work Environment: This is a remote role for South African Citizens only. • Internet (fibre): Candidates must possess a fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps for both upload and download, capable of supporting a wired Ethernet connection. • Power backup: Candidates must have a power backup solution to manage loadshedding or power outages.

Requirements

• MSP Experience: Minimum 3 years in MSP settings. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in server, firewall, and network troubleshooting (Hyper V, Sonicwall, Ubiquiti), Microsoft Server/PC products, O365, and advanced networking principles. • Additional Skills: Exceptional time management, communication, and client relationship skills. Experience with PSA/Ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise PSA) and a knack for learning and adapting quickly. • Certifications: A+ required; Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications desirable. • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage, Ninja RMM, and documentation platforms. • Automation Scripting: • IT project management: • Extensive use of a PSA/Ticketing System. • Working at an MSP as an escalation tech.
