Description

• Generate new leads and opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and online research. • Develop and implement effective prospecting strategies to expand the customer base. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction. • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products/services. • Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. • Close deals and secure contracts. • Work towards achieving individual sales targets and KPIs and contribute to business goals. • Collaboration with internal teams. • Provide feedback from customers to contribute to product/service enhancements. • Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth. • Continually assess and adjust strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics. • Track and analyze sales performance and business development opportunities. • Prepare regular reports for management to evaluate effectiveness. • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends. • Analyze industry data and competitor activities to stay informed about market changes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field • Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with CRM software and other business development tools • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field *desirable • Sales experience within the logistics sector *desirable • Willingness to drive nationwide • Full UK driving licence
