Description

• Aid in the monthly close process by posting journal entries & performing accruals/adjustments across various entities. • Prepare account analyses and balance sheet reconciliations with accuracy and precision. • Assist with vendor expense review as part of the monthly opex accrual process. • Support processes related to our acquired companies, including review and reconciliation of their monthly results uploaded to the GL. • Work with various accounting teams to align policies, procedures, and internal controls. • Identify accounting issues, research and summarize solutions, as well as communicate resolutions. • Evaluate accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures for continuous improvement opportunities. • Other duties and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting • 3-5 years of accounting experience • Basic knowledge of residential real estate, preferred • Experience working across multiple geographical entities • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with cross functional teams • Excellent customer service and ability to work in a team environment • Strong analysis, problem solving, multitasking and decision-making skills • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet tight or changing deadlines • Strong attention to detail and accuracy and a strong focus on continuous improvement • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proficiency with Excel • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP a plus
