Description

• Jabil is seeking a Sr. Software Test Development Engineer to contribute to validation test solutions • Responsible for contributing to end-to-end architecture, development and production deployment of software • Design and develop test systems and procedures for manufacturing hardware validation • Create, validate, release, and maintain test software to automate testing processes • Support and maintain manufacturing server and rack level test software • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures and infrastructure • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing requirements and quality standards

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred • 5-8 years’ experience in a software role related to manufacturing test development/sustaining • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with server hardware interaction, validation, and configuration • Experience in 2-3 of core programming/scripting languages: Python, Java, BASH.C, C++, experience a plus • Linux development expertise with a solid understanding of its fundamentals: CentOS/Ubuntu • Knowledge of hardware and API solutions for controlling, managing and stressing L10 devices • Experience with code versioning tools (Git preferred) • Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices
