Description

• Lead UX research as part of a multi-disciplinary product team working in an agile environment. • Champion user needs, empathizing with long-term clients and new users adopting Jackrabbit Class. • Partner with product leadership to establish a research and insights program. • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary delivery team, including designers and product managers, to define research plans. • Leverage deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools. • Develop innovative methods to reach and recruit large participant samples. • Plan, design, and conduct remote and in-person studies. • Organize and maintain our user research repository. • Translate findings into actionable insights for business decision-making. • Balance generative and evaluative research projects across the product life cycle. • Occasionally lead and support product design teams’ work running design sprints.

Requirements

• 3+ years of UX research experience and best practices with B2B SaaS applications or related experience with analyzing user feedback. • Ability to forge relationships with internal and external stakeholders and become an expert in product user needs and behaviors. • Excellent Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Collaboration skills. • User-focus with the ability to empathize and advocate for their needs. • Innovative mindset and ability to think outside the box. • Excellent English communication skills (verbal, written, presentation). • Solid business acumen, with the ability to quickly connect the dots between user feedback and impact on product decisions. • Knowledge of UX research best practices and tools. • Ability to multitask, balance multiple priorities, and perform well under pressure. • Ability to travel up to 15%; some weekend travel is required for trade shows or conferences. • Desired, but not required: 2+ years experience with Agile Scrum. • 2+ years experience in the child activity market desired. • Experience using Figma, Maze, Aha, Jira, and Condens or related project and research management tools. • Experience with UAT, Alpha, and Beta testing, including change management user needs. • Design Thinking or Product Management background. • Ability to facilitate productive Design Discovery Sessions. • Experience leveraging new technologies such as AI to analyze findings and build insight quickly. • Ability to create and update personas and user journeys as new learnings arise.
