📋 Description
• Monitor Security Operations Dashboard for alerts • Respond to multiple shared mailbox inquiries • Work Incident Response and Administrative tickets • Investigate security incidents and escalate as needed • Perform data mining queries using Splunk ES • Communicate clearly with Leadership, Customers, and Peers • Provide vulnerability, threat, and risk mitigation support • Support daily Operations briefings and customer-defined metrics reports • Support government data calls
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Work experience in Network Security • Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and internet protocols • Willingness to work in a SOC environment • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills • Active DOD Secret Clearance or clearable to Top Secret level • Technical Certifications desired: Security +, CEH, GREM, CISSP • Experience with Linux OS • Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk • Experience with IDS tools and technologies • Completion of 'Splunk Fundamentals 1' required
