• Jama Software is focused on maximizing innovation success in multidisciplinary engineering organizations. • We are looking for a Senior Commissions Accountant who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accurate and timely calculation, tracking, and reporting of commissions for sales personnel within the organization. • The Senior Commissions Accountant will collaborate with sales teams, finance, and HR departments to ensure that commission payments align with company policies and individual/team sales performance. • This role requires expertise in commission structures, accounting processes, and financial analysis.
Requirements
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. • Proficiency and familiarity with commission-based software tools (preferably Performio) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex commission structures to various stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive compensation and financial information with discretion. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years focused on commissions, payroll, or incentive compensation. • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Intacct, NetSuite) and commission tracking tools (e.g., Performio, Xactly, CaptivateIQ, or similar).
