β’ Under general supervision, responsible for contacting high-profile, prospective customers and selling J.B. Hunt solutions for their enterprise β’ Focuses on defining opportunity to sell J.B. Hunt services to customers β’ Onboarding new clients and establishing a long-term strategy for customer success β’ Align internal teams to execute that strategy and transferring the customer to internal sales personnel for continuous management through account maturity β’ Utilize data insights and sales enablement tools to conduct lead generation activities β’ Meet with prospective customers to discuss viable opportunities β’ Coordinate with internal teams and the customer to implement the customer's solution β’ Set expectations during implementation for internal resources to maintain the health of the account β’ Develop account strategy for maintenance and growth
β’ High School Diploma/GED β’ 3-4 years of transportation/logistics, or relevant experience β’ valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record as per JBH standards β’ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Communication, or related field (preferred) β’ 3-4 years working in transportation/logistics or relevant experience (preferred) β’ 2-3 years of direct sales experience (preferred) β’ Deep understanding of the trucking industry (preferred) β’ Personal network inside flatbed focused customer bases (preferred) β’ 3+ years of flatbed sales experience (preferred)
