• Company Overview: InVitro Capital is a forward-thinking company that empowers its own portfolio companies (PortCos) and SMBs through innovative AI and SaaS solutions. • Job Overview: InVitro Capital is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and implement backend software solutions using Python and related technologies. • Responsibilities: Design and implement backend software solutions using Python and related technologies. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. • Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems. • Optimize code for efficiency and maintainability. • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices. • Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues. • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in backend engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role. • Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask). • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. • Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms. • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization. • Proficient understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). • Understanding of software testing and test-driven development (TDD) principles.
