Description

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for clients. • Support in creating budgets and financial forecasts based on client-specific needs. • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that affect business operations. • Monitor cash flow projections, identifying potential issues and helping develop strategies to manage liquidity. • Investigate variances between actual and budgeted financial results, providing insights and recommendations. • Build financial models to support business decisions, including profitability analysis, cost management, and investment evaluation. • Identify areas where financial processes can be streamlined or improved, providing suggestions to optimize efficiency. • Collaborate directly with the Fractional CFO to relay financial information and present findings to clients in an understandable and actionable way. • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed by clients or the Fractional CFO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role. • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements. • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or others) is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts. • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial data in simple terms. • Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses is preferred.
