📋 Description

• At Jiffy, we’re revolutionizing the digital infrastructure for crafters by enhancing their physical and digital value chains. • Our platform is designed to elevate the crafter economy, minimizing friction so that crafters can focus on their passion—creating. • As the Lead UX Designer you will be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction and execution of our global design efforts. • You’ll oversee all design aspects for our product and brand surfaces, ensuring consistency and innovation as we introduce new products and features. • This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement, blending leadership with individual contribution. • You will be responsible for building a cohesive design vision, establishing effective systems and processes, and mentoring a talented team of designers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a 0-1 environment, with a proven track record of leading and managing a design team. • Demonstrated experience collaborating with product teams, including engineers and product managers, to develop user-centered solutions. • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. • Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, design thinking, and UX principles. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across cross-functional teams. • An outstanding portfolio showcasing sophisticated conceptual thinking, strong visual design, and process work including sketches, mood boards, and other preliminary design artifacts. • Experience applying design principles to growth strategies, including email communications, marketing websites, and customer retention efforts. • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate business objectives into impactful design solutions.
