📋 Description

• Jobgether has ALL remote jobs globally. • We match you to roles where you're most likely to succeed. • For one of our clients, we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer. • Working remotely from North Carolina, United States. • Responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of utility-scale solar projects. • Ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. • Develop and maintain commissioning plans, coordinate on-site activities. • Conduct inspections to verify proper system functionality. • Troubleshoot issues, track test reports, and ensure all pre-energization activities are completed. • Requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems, safety protocols, and renewable energy infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of commissioning experience in utility-scale solar projects. • Strong understanding of OSHA workplace safety practices and procedures. • Hands-on experience with racking and tracker commissioning, troubleshooting, and manufacturer certifications. • Expertise in inverter commissioning, SCADA/DAS systems, and communication protocols. • Knowledge of MV transformers and other renewable energy balance of systems (BOS) components. • Ability to interpret construction, electrical single-line, and three-line drawings, and manage RFIs. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple states as needed. • Certifications such as OSHA 30/100, NABCEP PV Associate, NFPA 70e, or High/Low Voltage Certification are preferred.
