β€’ Jobgether has ALL remote jobs globally. β€’ We match you to roles where you're most likely to succeed. β€’ For one of our clients, we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer. β€’ Working remotely from North Carolina, United States. β€’ Responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of utility-scale solar projects. β€’ Ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. β€’ Develop and maintain commissioning plans, coordinate on-site activities. β€’ Conduct inspections to verify proper system functionality. β€’ Troubleshoot issues, track test reports, and ensure all pre-energization activities are completed. β€’ Requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems, safety protocols, and renewable energy infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 4+ years of commissioning experience in utility-scale solar projects. β€’ Strong understanding of OSHA workplace safety practices and procedures. β€’ Hands-on experience with racking and tracker commissioning, troubleshooting, and manufacturer certifications. β€’ Expertise in inverter commissioning, SCADA/DAS systems, and communication protocols. β€’ Knowledge of MV transformers and other renewable energy balance of systems (BOS) components. β€’ Ability to interpret construction, electrical single-line, and three-line drawings, and manage RFIs. β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation. β€’ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). β€’ Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple states as needed. β€’ Certifications such as OSHA 30/100, NABCEP PV Associate, NFPA 70e, or High/Low Voltage Certification are preferred.
