📋 Description

• Ability to learn aircraft and ground station subsystems. • Support safety analysis of aircraft. • Organize a cross-functional, integrated Reliability and System Safety team. • Travel requirements: 25% on average. • Development and maintenance of a System Safety Program Plan. • Understand methods of identifying and categorizing Safety-Significant functions. • Perform Fault Tree Analyses and conduct Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA). • Develop Reliability and Maintainability Models and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs). • Support the Design Assurance process and related design review milestones.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field of study with a minimum of 4 years of experience. • Basic understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theories. • Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-882E, MIL-HBK-516C, Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) 4761, STANAG 4671, operation and processes of System Safety Working Groups. • Ability to follow and apply basic engineering knowledge, adapt standard techniques, and utilize the required diagnostics, tools, and equipment while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. • Experience managing hazardous materials as part of the System Safety process (including Hazardous Material Management Plan and Report). • Ability to work both independently and on a team.
