📋 Description

• Jobgether has ALL remote jobs globally. • We match you to roles where you're most likely to succeed. • For one of our clients, we are looking for a Payroll Manager, working remotely from the United States. • You will be responsible for overseeing the full payroll process for a growing workforce across multiple U.S. states and international locations. • This role requires deep expertise in multi-state payroll compliance, tax regulations, and payroll systems. • You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain compliance with payroll tax laws, and manage relationships with external payroll providers. • You will play a key role in supporting audits, payroll reporting, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize payroll operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 5+ years of payroll management experience, with a focus on multi-state payroll compliance. • Experience working with Employer of Record (EOR) providers to manage international payroll. • Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements. • Experience with payroll audits, 401(k) administration, and compliance reviews. • Proficiency with payroll systems, with experience using platforms such as Rippling, Deel, Remote, or Fidelity preferred. • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential data. • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, such as a startup or small team.
