For one of our clients, we are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, remotely from any location worldwide. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of advanced knowledge graph and database solutions. This role is central to upholding quality as a shared responsibility within development teams. You’ll be deeply involved in the testing and validation of cutting-edge vector databases and automation processes, particularly those related to cloud infrastructure. A critical aspect of the role includes driving automation and employing best practices like chaos engineering to ensure system resilience. Contribute to the design and implementation of robust QA processes and standards. Expand test automation efforts to maximize coverage and reduce manual testing workloads. Execute and document test cases to validate product features and functionalities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between requirements and testing strategies. Participate in Agile workflows, including sprint planning and retrospectives. Continuously explore and implement QA trends and best practices to enhance processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in quality assurance roles, particularly in distributed database or search platform environments. In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, test automation, and QA best practices. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and a strong understanding of distributed systems concepts (e.g., sharding, replication, fault tolerance). Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to tackle complex QA challenges. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across time zones. Demonstrated ability to thrive in fully remote settings and work effectively in global teams.
