• Plays a supportive role in implementing the activities of the IRB and Conflict of Interest Office. • Provides pre-review for incoming IRB research applications and determines adequacy of submissions. • Supports and documents all IRB meetings and performs quality assurance reviews. • Provides education and training to staff and the research community. • Assists in revising IRB and human subject research policies and conducts testing of the electronic HIRB system. • Monitors the Office’s general HIRB email inbox and responds to requests. • Supports Conflict of Interest and Commitment Program on as needed basis.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree. • Three years of related human subjects compliance and/or research administrative experience. • Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. • Three years of IRB regulatory experience, preferably in an academic setting. • Certified IRB Professional (CIP) credential preferable. • Familiarity with WordPress.
