Description

• Test data transformations, ETL processes, and data services for accuracy • Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers • Participate in testing and validating emergency production bug fixes • Assume a leadership role in special testing projects • Ensure documentation is up to date and standards are followed • Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements • Follow data quality assurance standards and best practices • Develop and automate test suites for data quality and performance • Log and track defects with the Development team • Provide guidance for data quality improvements • Communicate testing status for the team • Mentor user acceptance testers and new team members

Requirements

• 7 years of database development or data Quality Assurance experience in a quantitative, data-driven business environment • 2 years' experience in data Quality Assurance testing • Knowledge and practice of data quality assurance best practices and methods in a data services environment • High-level understanding of relational database architecture, data warehousing, and data manipulation • High proficiency in SQL programming for SQL Server • Experience with Visual Studio using C# unit testing • Sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices • Experience with Azure Data Factory • Experience with Azure DevOps, including Boards and Git source code control • Knowledge of data quality management principles • Experience in defect tracking and release management
