📋 Description

•We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team at Innomotics. •Innomotics is looking for a Field Service Technician that will coordinate, lead, implements and/or perform service for new equipment installations, upgrades, retrofits, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and training. •Perform predictive and preventative motor maintenance at customer sites. •Test, inspect, troubleshoot, or service electric motor and generator application in the field service setting. •Promote strong company image through extensive and direct customer contact. •Read various manufacturers' schematic diagrams. •Install and/or remove electric motors at customer’s location. •Troubleshoot and test electric motor installations, using vibration, electrical tests and infrared. •Align motor shafts, couplings, gearboxes, pumps, fans, and other connected equipment at customer’s location using LASER alignment systems. •Perform commissioning of new motors using various start-up testing procedures. •Operate specialized equipment, including but not limited to vibration collection devices (CSI Vibration Analyzer), infrared cameras, megohmmeter, high-voltage insulation testers, ac/dc volt-ohm-milliamp meters, clamp-on ammeters, PDMA tester and various kinds of hand-held power and non-power tools, etc. •Able to analyze vibration data, utilizing AMS Machinery Management Software. •Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear (especially eye and ear protection). •Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, collecting data/completing required paperwork and reports for each job accurately and on a timely basis. •Keep work area neat and clean. •Able to travel across the US on short notice. •Perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as needed. •Perform Commissioning installations, Preventative Maintenance, sophisticated trouble shooting, problem analysis and product specific service on Siemens product line. •Performs sophisticated maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc. •Must be proficient with use of various hand tools, torque wrenches, etc., Ability to climb ladders, stairs as the need arises •Ability to lift heavy objects, bending & reaching as the need arises.

🎯 Requirements

•5+ years of technical hands-on experience specific to electrical measurement equipment and/or Associates degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred •HS diploma or equivalent required •Working proficiency with electrical measurement equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and various niche equipment for communication and network systems •Validated troubleshooting techniques and excellent interpersonal communication skills •Candidate should be able to read and understand electrical plans, specifications, drawings, and installation schematics •Up to 100% Travel required with the position •Candidate should be familiar with electrical safety PPE and procedures (LOTO, NFPA70E and OSHA regulations) •Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems •Strong business communication skills and ability to promote professional image •Knowledge of AC and DC motors and motor application
