β€’ The Staff Accountant has ownership of month end close, including journals, reconciliations, reporting, as well as identifying issues and proposing solutions, standardizing processes, and procedures with an efficiency demeanor. β€’ Strong analysis and interpersonal skills will make you a valued member of this team, supporting a growing business. β€’ This role will report directly to the Regional Head of Accounting and can be remote. β€’ Support the HoA of Innomotics Americas with the application and implementation of approved accounting policies in line with respective legal/regulatory requirements (i.e. IFRS) and Innomotics Financial Reporting Guideline (i.e. FRGs). β€’ Support compliance with accounting, tax, treasury and other statutory regulations. β€’ Prepare, coordinate, and assist in annual statutory and group financial statements and footnote disclosures for its major entities. β€’ Review and approve financial statement impacting postings (manual journal entries) and balance sheet account reconciliations. β€’ Perform various analytical procedures to identify and resolve possible risks to the financial statements. β€’ Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly closing activities and prepare general ledger activities (i.e. payroll, accrual, intercompany clearing/reconciliation, tax, etc.) β€’ Continuously strive for process efficiency while maintaining or increasing quality through automation and continuous process improvements. β€’ Participate, coordinate or lead integration projects. β€’ Assist in assessing and implementing reporting system changes as required due to global or local changes in regulations or process improvements. β€’ Support effective internal controls and provide support to internal and external auditors. β€’ Collaborate/communicate effectively with internal (e.g., GBS, Headquarter, Tax, Segments, Treasury, Procurement, etc.) and external partners (e.g., external auditors). β€’ Conduct research and analysis on accounting treatment (i.e. revenue recognition, leases, etc.) to offer insight on financial statements. β€’ Complete ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, as well as special projects. Other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ BS/BA in finance / accounting or related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience β€’ 5+ years of experience in a complex corporate accounting environment with a strong understanding and use of IFRS or local GAAP accounting principles β€’ Previous experience in addressing and resolving non-routine and complex technical issues to timely and satisfactory conclusions, including working with management β€’ Ability to scope, assess, and implement new technologies to automate or digitalize legacy processes β€’ Prior track record in change management and continuous process improvements β€’ Proficiency in large ERP systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.) and MS365 applications β€’ Strong appreciation for the importance of ensuring accuracy in all levels of financial reporting β€’ Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, communicate expectations, adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously β€’ Results-driven and detail-oriented with a high degree of attention to detail β€’ Passion for continued self-development through continuous learning and training efforts β€’ Self-driven, achieve goals, and work independently as well as collaborate in teams or functional groups. β€’ Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish, or English and Portuguese) β€’ CPA or CPA designation is preferred
