Description

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the Data Engineering team, balancing immediate business requirements with long-term goals. • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3 Data Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. • Collaborate closely with BI & Analytics, Business Systems, and other business units to align data engineering initiatives with overall company objectives. • Oversee the integration of data from various sources, including our internal platform, Stripe, NetSuite, Maxio, SFDC, ZoomInfo, Outreach, HubSpot, and Chorus. • Ensure seamless data flow between systems, enabling accurate and timely data availability for business operations and analytics. • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure data storage solutions on AWS. • Manage Snowflake, ensuring data is organized, accessible, and secure. • Lead the development and maintenance of robust data pipelines to support data ingestion, processing, and transformation. • Ensure data pipelines are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. • Implement CICD/DevOps practices to streamline the development, testing, and deployment of data pipelines. • Implement and enforce data quality standards and governance practices. • Establish processes for data validation, cleansing, and monitoring to maintain high data quality and accuracy. • Promote data stewardship principles across the organization, ensuring data is managed as a valuable asset. • Collaborate with data stewards in various business units to ensure consistent data definitions, standards, and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. • Proven experience leading best practices with data integration, ETL processes, cloud-based data warehousing on AWS, and big data technologies, including modern tools like Snowflake, Fivetran, and Hightouch. • Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data stewardship principles. • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of the organization. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance strategic vision with practical implementation.
