Description
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Terraform, etc. • Collaborate with teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Own projects from start to finish • Support and mentor backend team members. • Troubleshoot and debug issues. • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Requirements
• 6+ years working in backend development in a professional environment • 6+ years working with relational databases. • 3+ years and proficiency in Java. • 3+ years and proficiency in at least one major cloud service provider (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure). • Strong proficiency in API design and data modeling, object-oriented programming, MVC, relational database design, and testing methodologies. • Proficiency in version control tools (e.g. Git) and containerization (e.g. Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks. • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
