Description

• K2M Design is seeking an Energy Engineer for a global institution client • Completing comprehensive assessments of large buildings and industrial facilities • Identifying potential energy and water conservation measures, estimating implementation costs, annual savings, and performing life cycle cost analysis • Responsibilities include Utility bill tabulation, analysis of rate structure and regression analysis • Benchmarking using Energy Star Portfolio Manager and CBECs Data and Other Databases • Review existing building drawings, identify potential energy conservation measures (ECMs) and field verify existing conditions • Development of energy and water savings calculations using one or more of the following: whole building energy modeling and Data based algorithm analysis in Excel • Develop detailed and rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimates • Develop report, tables, graphs • Develop financial models including life cycle cost analysis, cash flow models, internal rates of return and return on investment

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience energy audits or energy modeling • Knowledgeable in HVAC controls, Building Automation Systems, Site Inspections • Experience with Carrier HAP, a plus • Licensed Professional Engineer, a plus • Anticipated 15% travel • Due to client requirements - Full security clearance and U.S. Citizenship required • Position only available to candidates residing in EST and CST time zones
