• Foster a team-oriented work environment & maintain positive relationships with suppliers • Review and coordinate daily operations requirements consisting of critical tasks • Coordinate pre-move processes including weight/volume estimations, move plans, and shipment logistics • Monitor and manage all origin service requirements enforcing standards • Review Alaskan shipments for optimization considering various options to maximize capacity • Update and monitor systems with accurate transit information for movements • Ensure all shipments are routed and forwarded according to required standards • Maintain accurate records ensuring all shipment related data is available for reporting • Establish and/or monitor proposed move plan for each shipment • Collaborate with Alaska Operations Manager to enhance service to clients • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of education • Minimum 2 years directly related experience in General Freight Forwarding, preferred HHG Moving. • Ability to read, interpret documents and execute actions intended to service household goods shipments moving door-to-door globally • Ability to communicate with suppliers at the transactional level and provide clear and concise instructions for service performance • Experience in the household goods or similar commodity forwarding industry
