📋 Description

• Kelvin Group is adding a Senior Refrigeration Engineer to our team! This individual will be responsible for the design and implementation of both commercial and industrial refrigeration mechanical systems.

🎯 Requirements

• BS Degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline. • Minimum requirement of work history in HVAC design, such as plant chillers, AHU’s, and construction. Experience with Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia, DX refrigeration, and trans-critical CO2 systems) preferred. • 7-10 years of experience in designing & engineering industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia system experience highly desired). • Current P.E. certification preferred. • Proficiency in drafting/design programs, e.g. CAD. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, etc). • Ability to create, read, analyze and interpret construction drawings and P&ID’s. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Skill in writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. • Experience in all aspects of project requirements including mechanical, electrical, and structural, including application of current building/installation codes. • In depth knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications. • In depth knowledge of building materials, engineering standards and codes. • Ability to work closely with others on a team as well as independently. • Capability of maintaining a high energy level to handle a dynamic, fast-paced workload. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in evaluating situations. • Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities, projects and deadlines. • Self-motivation and willingness to learn and embrace new ideas and technologies. • Ability to access job sites, including some climbing and crawling.
