β’ Kelvin Group is adding a Senior Refrigeration Engineer to our team! This individual will be responsible for the design and implementation of both commercial and industrial refrigeration mechanical systems.
β’ BS Degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline. β’ Minimum requirement of work history in HVAC design, such as plant chillers, AHUβs, and construction. Experience with Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia, DX refrigeration, and trans-critical CO2 systems) preferred. β’ 7-10 years of experience in designing & engineering industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia system experience highly desired). β’ Current P.E. certification preferred. β’ Proficiency in drafting/design programs, e.g. CAD. β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, etc). β’ Ability to create, read, analyze and interpret construction drawings and P&IDβs. β’ Strong interpersonal and communication skills. β’ Skill in writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. β’ Experience in all aspects of project requirements including mechanical, electrical, and structural, including application of current building/installation codes. β’ In depth knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications. β’ In depth knowledge of building materials, engineering standards and codes. β’ Ability to work closely with others on a team as well as independently. β’ Capability of maintaining a high energy level to handle a dynamic, fast-paced workload. β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in evaluating situations. β’ Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities, projects and deadlines. β’ Self-motivation and willingness to learn and embrace new ideas and technologies. β’ Ability to access job sites, including some climbing and crawling.
