Description
• Kentik is the network observability company. • Our platform actively monitors infrastructure, triggers automated responses to outages and attacks, and plays a critical role in delivering complete network observability to our customers. • You will work closely with customer service, product, and other engineering teams to develop new features and maintain Kentik as the most performant solution. • Work to improve our distributed database to meet customer demands. • Collaborate with other engineer teams, support, and sales teams. • Work on high-visibility, challenging engineering problems. • Build on a data platform that pushes the boundaries of data velocity and volume for storage and retrieval.
Requirements
• 7+ years experience developing backend services, and working with Go, Python, Node, or similar languages • Solid understanding of data-intensive applications • Experience in any relevant areas of network observability (SNMP, Streaming Telemetry, BGP, general metrics collection, etc) • Strong interest in working on large-scale SaaS systems • A passion to grow personally and contribute to our team • Being collaborative is a must
