📋 Description

• Ideal candidate will reside in either NYC or Long Island, NY and will manage a team of Channel Sales Partners. • Meet or exceed the assigned district sale targets by managing Channel partners, National Accounts, Corporate Accounts and OEM Partners. • Ensure establishment and development of professional relationships with strategic prospects to meet customer needs. • Responsible for coordinating business development activities for prospects to support defined business strategy. • Analyze bid opportunities, prepare final bid responses with team, negotiate with potential customers, and maintain customer relationships to win projects. • Contact potential prospects to discuss needs and present how to meet them with specific products and services. • Responsible for product presentations and workshops. • Educate prospects and advise on the product line, addressing resistance to develop business. • Supports management team on target accounts or territories. • Maintain personal pipeline and customer log. Hunting for opportunities. • Develop and implement an annual district sales plan.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience selling fire detection equipment through a distribution channel in a defined territory. • Master’s Degree and 3+ years of experience selling fire detection equipment through a distribution channel in a defined territory. • Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal, communication skills, basic computer skills and high energy level required. • Product and code knowledge and application usage. • Five or more years of experience in creating, managing and growing a network of distributors. • Willingness to travel up to 60% in assigned territory. • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential. • Technical savvy and the ability to present are required. • You must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process. • You must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process. • You must be willing to work out of a virtual office.
