Description
• Primary purpose of this position is to understand, deliver, demonstrate, and fully implement a process solution that meets and aims to exceed our customer requirements – primary location is in Northeast United States • Installation of customer specific processes on systems and testing compliance with agreed process specification (“process transfer”) • Improvement in procedures and specifications related to the delivery of quality equipment to the customer – including improvement on existing processes to exceed customer requirements • On-site attendance for process installation acceptance, process development and process update meetings, along with remote support for customers • Collaboration with internal SPTS groups to ensure both proper process transfer and issues reporting • Collaboration with sales team on new applications or potential for future tool sales • Make presentations for all onsite projects – executive reviews and deeper summaries – proactively offering solutions to problems as needed • In depth compilation analysis of data – some of it complex with multiple variables • Develop familiarity with necessary process modules and endpoint capabilities
Requirements
• Educated to degree level in a relevant science or engineering discipline – ideally holding a Masters degree • Knowledge of clean room procedures and analytical instrumentation desired • Experience of report writing / progress presentations on a routine and frequent basis – using the Microsoft Office Suite • Familiarity with basic Lean/6-sigma definitions desired • Experience dealing with customers and ability to handle difficult situations • Hands-on experience of process engineering with basic understanding of general semiconductor manufacturing flows a bonus • 0-15 years of process engineering experience
