Description

β€’ The Project Coordinator will primarily be responsible for assisting the Project Director, Project Manager and other team members in a statewide implementation effort disseminating behavioral health evidence-based practices to various agencies and managed care organizations throughout Texas who are serving individuals with serious mental illness. β€’ The coordinator will serve as a trainer of several topics and coordinate the dissemination of other workshops and projects. β€’ Assists in the successful completion of behavioral health training projects. β€’ Supports project activities to include preparation and delivery of workshops, coordination with learners, funders, and subject matter experts, and management of continuing education, learner registration, and learner completion.

Requirements

β€’ General business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process. β€’ Solid organizational skills, including coordination, multi-tasking and time management. β€’ Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. β€’ Extensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Outlook, etc.). β€’ Strong focus on quality assurance with attention to detail and ability to apply protocols. β€’ Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines. β€’ Team-management and leadership skills β€’ Demonstrated ability to speak in front of an audience and clearly communicate complex ideas to a wide variety of disciplines β€’ Ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner. β€’ Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines. β€’ Must be able to use all applications of Microsoft Office, learn to use specialized software, and use all general office equipment (copier, fax, telephones, printers, etc.). β€’ EDUCATION: β€’ Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. β€’ Expereince: β€’ Three (3) years of directly related experience is required. β€’ Preferred experience working directly with clients in a clinical or case management setting. β€’ Preferred Candidates with clinical mental health experience. β€’ LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION: β€’ None.
