Description

• Responsible for delivering OKR centric customer and business value • Driving excellence in coding design, quality, understandability, testability, performance, security • Effective and fit for scale system design • Quality and testing controls and debugging at various scopes • Escalations and reporting with stakeholders company wide • Support and operations to ensure performance, including observability of systems • Mentoring and supporting team members on solutions and decisions • Refactoring complex systems down to simple systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience • Strong experience building complex applications using javascript and typescript • Extensive experience in a DevOps environment • Experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS • Experience with databases such as Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Mongo • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures • Geospatial experience will be a bonus
