• Focus on animal nutrition sales within Equine and Cattle species groups • Develop new and existing business growth • Analyze sales results and track growth • Support event selling and customer meetings • Partner with dealers for sales growth strategies • Develop training programs • Create annual business growth plans • Maintain accurate client history records

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field preferred • Related experience may be considered without a degree • 3-4 years of experience with animal science/nutrition • Proven sales track record • Understanding of cattle and equine species groups • Knowledge of current management practices • Understanding of Retail feed business and general business acumen • Up to 30% overnight travel required • Basic command of animal nutrition and management recommendations • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Success requires cold calling and relationship building
