Description

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with US Government rules for USDA-funded projects • Develop and implement strategic organizational processes and policies • Negotiate prime and sub-award contracts • Advise on federal regulations and operational compliance • Handle compliance issues and strategic communication with funders • Create and update policies related to compliance, subawards, and grants • Develop risk management strategies and training • Ensure compliance in contracts and subawards • Support compliance audits • Serve as liaison for compliance-related duties • Support project management efforts and team members • Contribute to key partner Statements of Works • Lead legal liaison efforts for projects

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree in related field • 7+ years of prior experience in grants management with United State Government funding • Extensive knowledge of 2 CFR 200 • Proven teamwork skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Basic financial analysis skills • Experience working with an automated grants management system • At least 2 years of experience representing organization to funders
