Description

• Provides consulting, analytics, training, and development services to support the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) • Supports the development and implementation of novel digital quality measures (dQMs) for hospitals and other healthcare settings • Leverages analytical skills and public-health knowledge to provide actionable insights for Lantana’s clients. • Access and analyze complex data from various sources • Conduct analyses in SAS and Python; interpret, summarize, and present findings to relevant stakeholders • Manipulate datasets and perform quality checks on analytic deliverables • Communicate analytic advice and data-science methodology to clients, management, and staff • Analyze client needs and translate them into formal requirements • Deliver project updates and presentations • Collaborate to plan, develop, and implement validation activities and healthcare-quality measurement programs • Maintain public-health expertise and stay abreast of current trends in the field

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related discipline and at least twelve (12) years of relevant experience • Experience using SAS to import data, manipulate data/datasets, and conduct analyses to evaluate data quality and accuracy • Experience using R or Python • Experience managing large datasets, moving and merging files from different platforms, cleaning and aggregating data, and performing quality control • Experience working with quality-assurance testing or user-acceptance testing involving healthcare data • Ability to learn new tasks quickly • Attention to detail when developing materials, reviewing documentation, troubleshooting issues, and reporting results • Ability to successfully complete a Position of Public Trust Level 5 background investigation
