• About LastPass: LastPass is a leader in password and identity management. • Join us and be part of the LastPass Platform Architect team. • You will be responsible for building and collaborating with peers and teams across the globe. • If you are passionate about complex problem solving and motivated by scale, then this is the role for you! • The architect role is a service-oriented position. • As LastPass’s Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, high-performing, and cost-effective cloud solutions. • Lead complex initiatives to modernize the LastPass infrastructure within our evolving organization. • Design innovative solutions that balance business continuity with enhancing user experience. • Be an industry leader outside of LastPass by contributing to open-source projects and presenting at industry conferences. • Maintain a consultant mindset and mentoring skills to help others build their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Proficiency in cloud technologies, specifically AWS, with a proven track record in designing and establishing enterprise-scale cloud landing zones. • Solid understanding of identity and access management, networking, and security in the cloud. • Experience in designing and delivering cloud-native systems on AWS. • Professional-level certification, along with any specialty certification for AWS. • Skilled in advanced containerization technologies, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and understanding a container’s journey into production, including all aspects of CI/CD. • Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure-as-code solutions, such as CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform. • Excellent communication skills (spoken, written, and presentation) to express ideas to both technical and business users, resolving conflicts between various parties. • A strong team player who offers help and regularly shares knowledge with colleagues. • Technical leadership and architectural experience in cloud infrastructure development and containerization efforts. • Solid understanding of scalability, high availability, and concurrency patterns in distributed systems. • Flexibility and creativity in solution design, including leveraging emerging technologies. • Ability to communicate and apply common architectural design patterns across a wide range of technical problems. • Familiarity and hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages, along with a solid understanding of software development practices.
