Description
• Serve as a Senior Applications Support Engineer in the Technology team • Deliver level 2 and 3 support for proprietary web application • Expert application configuration through SQL scripting • Collaborate with the Java development team • Assist in quality assurance testing for software releases • Manage application security configurations • Execute Perl, PL/SQL, and Linux shell scripting • Engage in project management and collaboration using tools like JIRA and Confluence
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • 7+ years of experience in administering data-driven web applications • Expertise in SQL scripting for application configuration and support • Proficiency in PL/SQL, Perl, Regular Expression, and Linux Shell scripting • Experience in Linux system administration including security configurations, RSA keys, trust store, certificate maintenance, and SSO configurations • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming • Familiarity with Oracle SQL Developer and Java IDEs • Core Java skills to collaborate effectively with the development team • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written • Strong organizational and prioritization skills • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team setting • Problem-solving aptitude
