Description

• Report to the Director of Design and collaborate with fellow design team members to craft exceptional web products. • Manage every aspect of the user journey from research and ideation to copywriting, prototyping, user testing, and final production. • Tackle complex, abstract problems in collaboration with team members across various departments. • Drive a large scope of work with a high degree of autonomy and create clarity from ambiguity. • Clarify requirements, adapt to new information, and communicate your thoughts and ideas effectively. • Facilitate and engage in design workshops, brainstorm sessions, and mentor other team members. • Contribute to the design team’s culture and engage with the social committee.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience designing web-based complex products. • Experience in the fintech industry is a plus. • Strong background in UX design, and a proven track record of working within a cross functional team to ship successful products to users. • Portfolio showcasing real-life examples of your work as a product designer. • Excellent communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves collaborating with smart and talented people. • Experience managing stakeholders and working with business teams on requirements gathering and business analysis related to product design projects. • Confidently provide direction on product features and roadmaps, manage product design projects, and contribute to the overall design strategy decision-making. • Solution-oriented individual with a product-thinking mindset, capable of working independently to push projects across the finish line and align design outcomes with business and product expectations. • Sharp eye for details and can reinforce team standards for quality of work and process, mentoring and providing feedback to other designers to help them improve their skills. • Experience working with and evolving established design systems, and are proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Miro.
