📋 Description
• Actively participate in preparation, analysis and submission of Medicaid/Medicare cost reports • Complete settlement accruals based on interim cost reports • Support management in all reimbursement related matters • Reviews or prepares monthly revenue and contractual adjustment accruals • Updates Medicare rate assumptions • Investigates payment discrepancies • Coordinates audits of assigned facilities • Responds to proposed audit adjustments • Reconciles reimbursement settlement accounts • Assists management in development of policies, procedures, reports and other tools to improve work product
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, systems or equivalent experience preferred • 3-5 years cost reporting and third-party accounting experience • Knowledge of GAAP accounting • Excellent analytical skills • Excellent oral/written communication skills
