Description

• Collaborate directly with executive leadership to define and execute high-impact, strategic initiatives that shape the future of healthcare technology. • Lead architecture and design efforts in the healthcare technology space, building innovative solutions that significantly improve the experience for patients and clinicians. • Utilize cutting-edge AWS technologies and advanced data modeling techniques to solve complex problems at scale. • Mentor and guide other engineers, helping to establish coding best practices and technical excellence across teams. • Embrace and promote a DevOps-centric culture, integrating development and operations to enhance deployment frequency, time to market, and system reliability. • Lead the design and architectural direction of complex, distributed systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical strategy. • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code that meets the highest standards of software craftsmanship. • Develop and document comprehensive technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and design patterns to guide development efforts. • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance system architecture, scalability, performance, and user experience. • Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines across engineering teams, promoting a culture of technical excellence. • Architect and implement scalable, high-performance, cloud-native systems for mission-critical applications, ensuring high availability and reliability. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and executive leadership, to make key architectural decisions and drive projects from conception to completion. • Lead system-wide troubleshooting efforts, performance tuning, and optimization to ensure system stability and resilience. • Mentor and coach other engineers, facilitating knowledge sharing and professional development within the team. • Champion DevOps practices, integrating development and operations to improve deployment frequency and system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 10+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on systems design and architecture. • 5+ years of experience in database architecture and design, including expertise with relational databases, NoSQL databases, Redis, and other storage technologies. • Demonstrated expertise in designing and architecting large-scale, highly available, distributed systems from the ground up. • In-depth knowledge of cloud architectures, particularly AWS services; AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable. • Strong understanding of system performance optimization, scalability considerations, and cloud-native design patterns. • Extensive experience with API design, microservices architecture, and integration patterns. • Proficient in quality assurance practices, automated testing strategies, and DevOps methodologies. • Proven ability to lead and manage projects across full technology stacks and cross-functional teams, including collaboration with executive leadership. • Familiarity with data processing and ETL pipelines; experience with AWS Glue and data modeling is a plus. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven and objective approach to decision-making. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong sense of ownership, and the ability to drive initiatives across multiple teams.
