Description

• Primary financial partner to a Market or Specialty Business Vice President • Responsible for setting financial goals and strategies across the market/business • Develop annual strategic and financial business plans • Review financial and profit results on a monthly basis • Communicates any material change to the forecast/budget • Prepare acquisition business cases and perform due diligence procedures • Lead financial modeling for new strategic initiatives • Analyze and improve business processes • Identify potential process improvements • Directly manage, coach and develop financial analyst(s) • Review gross margins and propose/implement opportunities for improvement • Provide guidance and recommendations of policies and procedures • Ensure security and integrity of financial information and assist with internal audits

Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of experience in progressive financial leadership a multi-unit organization • 2+ years relevant experience in a management role • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and act as a partner on all financial related decisions • Strong abilities in effective solutions to various operational and financial matters • Thrive in a fast paced and changing environment • Ability to work independently, setting own priorities and objectives with leadership support • Skilled at focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, identifying next steps, and effectively meeting deadlines • Acquisitions experience conducting due diligence and/or post-acquisition integration • Ability to maintain highly confidential information • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
